Congratulations to STUART LIPTON and AARON WEITZEN
who both tied for the most points, with Stuart Lipton winning
the tiebreaker and the overall bracket pool.
Welcome to our 2nd Annual ‘nPlay Foundation March to Health, the NCAA basketball tournament fundraiser bracket pool that is run by the college students of America. Started by Lex Rofes and the Brown University Sports Business Club in 2011, we are proud to have 10 schools participating in 2012. Each school has their own separate pool and when you play in any one of those pools you are automatically entered into the national pool.
To participate, you simply make a donation to the charity ‘nPlay, a 501(c)(3), which is the professional athlete’s foundation for the prevention of childhood obesity. Have fun seeing how you match up with others while making a donation to a great cause helping children. ‘nPlay has over 35 athletes from 17 sports which is led by NBA legend Grant Hill, Paul Pierce, gold-medal winning softball player Jennie Finch, and golf icon Gary Player among others.
The money raised will be put directly back into schools working to meet the criteria of the Healthier US Schools Challenge, a USDA program which is a core component of the “Let’s Move” initiative.
This NCAA approved fundraiser also permits student-athlete participation. To join, please read instructions in the sidebar at right.
ALUMNI, FAMILY, FRIENDS AND FANS
The pools are open to anyone who wants to join and show their support for the universities and the work of these students. We welcome everyone’s participation!
Winners will be announced here after the tournament ends. All participants will also be notified via email. PRIZING: Please note that there are no prizes for March to Health as this is the only way that student athletes can participate without losing their eligibility. We cleared it directly with the NCAA.
Thank you for being part of the solution in combating childhood obesity. We hope you will continue to help us mobilize by forwarding www.marchtohealth.com to others!
